Adapt their impairment to any Battle, in any gym, anywhere in the world.
WHAT IS ADAPTIVE FITNESS?
Adaptive fitness is a form of personal training for individuals with disabilities. These workouts are “adapted” to the specific needs of the individual. Workouts might include strength training, stretching, core work, and cardio. Trinity Fitness trainers are certified in adaptive fitness for amputees and individuals with spinal cord injuries.
IS IT SAFE?
All forms of exercise are accompanied by a risk for injury, whether you have a disability or not. With Trinity Fitness’ trainers, we’ll work closely with you to ensure all exercises are as safe as possible while meeting your fitness needs. We strongly recommend having clearance from your medical provider before beginning adaptive fitness training, or any fitness regime.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Anyone with a disability. Because our programs are designed to help you get in the best physical and spiritual shape of your life, our trainers can work with all levels of individuals with disabilities.
Improved hip capacity will help pro-ball players throw to first; it will also reduce the chances of grandpa falling in the tub. The squat is the perfect tool for both.
WHY TRINITY FITNESS?
Trinity Fitness is the perfect place for individuals with or without disabilities to build spiritual and physical fitness. Our programs are grounded in faith and mentor our members in their own unique journey to wellness. This makes us incredibly qualified to help people from all walks and stages of life.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Besides being part of a large supportive community of like-minded people, the benefits of Adaptive Fitness are quite simply improved health. Adaptive Training can help with physical health improvements like circulation, digestion, muscle strength, bone density, and pain relief. However, it can help with mental health as well by decreasing feelings of depression and anxiety and increasing socialization and independence.
